What is 'inclusion'?
Inclusion means everyone belongs — including women with disabilities.
In an organization, inclusion means making sure that both the organization and its work are fully accessible to people with a range of disabilities.
While this includes removing physical, social and attitudinal barriers, that is merely step one. True inclusion requires actively creating spaces and programs that encourage and welcome women with physical, psychological and developmental impairments as equals.
Self-assessments
We recommend printing these assessments. Please answer these questions openly, and use your responses to determine whether improving your approach to disability and inclusion should be an organisational priority going forward.
This is not a test, nor will you be required to share your assessment with anyone outside of your organisation. This is intended to be a tool for your own learning journey
